About this book

“Minna’s Patchwork Coat” is a heart-touching historical novel by Lauren A. Mills. It’s an expanded reimagining of her beloved picture book, “The Rag Coat,” enriched with fifty delicate pencil illustrations. The story is set in a small Appalachian cabin and follows Minna, a resilient little girl who, after she lost her father, finds comfort and community in a patchwork coat made from the fabric scraps of her neighbors.
