About this book

“Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife” is a novel written by Linda Berdoll. This book is a sequel to Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice” and is often described as a sexy, epic, hilarious, and romantic continuation. The story gives the reader a titillating taste of how it would feel to be Mrs. Darcy.

About the author

Linda Berdoll

Berdoll self-published Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife in 1999 out of Texas, an explicit continuation of Pride and Prejudice that answers the question Austen conspicuously does not, and sold enough copies out of her own car boot to be picked up by a publisher. Austen societies disliked it loudly, which sold more. Two sequels followed.
