No Good Deed

An interesting story ‘No Good Deed’ by Lynn Lorenz is set in a small Texas town. The main character in the story is  Captain Daniel Chan, who identifies as bisexual and is the only Chinese American in the Richland Police Department. He falls deeply in love with Mark Montgomery, a homosexual guy with a dark background.

But he will have to commit to being homosexual to be with Mark, which is something Mark demands. They encounter shady real estate transactions, men’s aspirations, and political scheming while they work out their affections for one another. It’s an exciting story that combines romance, action, suspense, mystery, and a hint of sensuality.
