The book ‘On the Come Up’ is written by Angie Thomas. ‘On the Come Up’ comes about the story of Bri, a 16-year-old aspiring rapper from Garden Heights, a predominantly Black inner-city neighborhood. Bri’s dream is to comes about in the footsteps of her late father, the underground rap star Lawless.
