Our Bird Comrades

Our Bird Comrades is an 1897 book of popular ornithology by Leander Sylvester Keyser (1856-1937), the American clergyman and nature writer who brought birdwatching to a wide readership in the decades before field guides. Keyser writes as a companionable observer, walking the reader through woods and fields to meet the warblers, thrushes, and sparrows by habit and song.
