Savage Run

The second book in C. J. Box’s Joe Pickett series is titled “Savage Run.” The killing of an environmental activist is the subject of a call to Wyoming game warden Joe Pickett, who is called in after a large explosion rocks the woodlands of Twelve Sleep County. The case is swiftly resolved as an unsuccessful environmental propaganda campaign, but Joe isn’t persuaded. Soon after, he finds hints pointing to a fatal scheme.
