Special Assignments

Special Assignments is the fifth part of Boris Akunin’s Erast Fandorin series, which has two historical detective novellas featuring in it. The protagonist of the book is called Erast Fandorin. Fandorin serves as the Deputy for Special Assignments to Moscow governor Prince Dolgurukoi and is tasked with capturing a gentleman con man named Momos, who has swindled Moscow’s residents out of thousands of rubles.
