About this book

State of the Union Addresses, credited to Warren G. Harding, gathers addresses dated December 6, 1921 and December 8, 1922. One address calls it a very gratifying privilege to come to the Congress with the Republic at peace with all the nations of the world. Another address says that everyone, speaking broadly, craves readjustment for everybody except himself, while there can be no just and permanent readjustment except when all participate.

An address says "We divide along political lines, and I would ever have it so." One address says that we have attacked the problem on one side by the promotion of cooperative marketing, and that we might well inquire into the benefits of cooperative buying. One address reports that a superpower survey of the eastern industrial region has recently been completed.
