M.A. Guglielmo’s “Summoned” In Daniel Goldstein’s apartment Zahara, a party girl of the paranormal appears out of nowhere from a bulb. Her objective? is to deceive a magician into surrendering his soul. Daniel, meanwhile, is on a different mission: to raise a jinn and stop a fallen angel who is bitter, guided by his Moroccan grandmother who has passed on.

Their magical contract ties them together, but Zahara isn’t the otherworldly ally Daniel had in mind. They set out on a mission to Morocco with Zaid, a jinn who has converted to Islam. Zahara must team up with the enraged brother of the fallen angel to stop a devastating conflict between the jinn and human worlds as they deal with mercenaries who hunt jinns as well as their attraction.
