About this book

Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner apply economic questions to behavior far beyond conventional markets. Their nonfiction account ranges across differences in pay, altruism, health care, safety and proposals for addressing climate change. By examining incentives and unexpected comparisons, they investigate how familiar assumptions about people and public problems stand up to analysis.
