Survival’s Price

Joanna Wylde’s short tale “Survival’s Price” is part of the Saurellian Federation series. The protagonists of the tale are Cybele, an assassin with a mission to complete, and Damian, a smuggler who has spent too much time in space. Cybele believes Damian will be easy prey when they first meet in a portside strip club, but she is mistaken. The journey they take to discover the cost of survival is chronicled in the book.
