The Price of Freedom

The second book in Joanna Wylde’s Saurellian Federation series is titled “The Price of Freedom.” The main characters of the narrative are Bethany, a hopeless lady, and Jess, a man who will not submit to being held prisoner. Unknowingly sealing her doom, Bethany saves the life of one of her father’s slaves.

After nearly dying, Jess decides to rebel. He’s fed up with being unloved, working in the mines, and experiencing terror. He’ll take all measures to get away, even if it means robbing Bethany. The book looks at issues of love, freedom, and the fallout from conflict.
