About this book

Tales From The Loop by Simon Stalenhag is a Swedish art book that doubles as a short story collection. Eighties Sweden but with giant abandoned machines in the fields and dinosaurs in the forests. Stalenhag's paintings are the main attraction. The Amazon series adapted the world but the book has a quieter mood.

About the author

Simon Stalenhag

Paints Swedish suburbs and farmland in the eighties and nineties, exactly as remembered, and then puts a decaying machine the size of a house in the field behind the children.
