The Blossom Shop: A Story of the South is a 1913 girls' novel by Isla May Mullins (1859-1936), an Alabama-born writer married to the president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. The story brings orphaned sisters to a small Southern town where their flower shop wins hearts in the sentimental tradition of Mrs. Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch and Pollyanna. Mullins followed it with several sequels for the same young audience.
