The Ghost Breaker is a comic mystery play by Paul Dickey (1884-1933), the American playwright and actor, written with Charles W. Goddard. A Kentucky gentleman helps a Spanish princess rid her castle of its ghost in a blend of romance, comedy, and thrills that proved a Broadway hit and was filmed several times, most notably as a vehicle for Bob Hope decades later. The play is a lively specimen of early twentieth-century popular theatre. Free PDF download available on BDeBooks.
