About this book

The Green Bicycle is a contemporary romance tale set in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The story is seen through the eyes of Wadjda, an eleven-year-old girl with a spirit as vibrant as her dreams. Wadjda’s dream is to own a bicycle to race against her friend Abdullah, a dream considered inappropriate in her society.
