The Imagined Attachment

Holli Jo Monroe wrote “The Imagined Attachment,” a romance set in the Regency era. It narrates the tale of Miss Elaine Brooke, a daydreamer without wealth or suitors who following a meeting with Daniel Ashburn, a childhood friend imagines a different existence from Mrs. Ashburn. Daniel’s brother Sir Phillip Ashburn makes an effort to keep Elaine away from Daniel which causes unanticipated emotions and insights.
