The Moonlit Vine is about fourteen-year-old Taina Perez. She is related to Anacaona, a famous leader from the Taino people. Taina learns about her heritage and faces everyday challenges while staying connected to her ancestors. This story mixes history with hope for the Puerto Rican and Taino people.
