About this book

Aamina Ahmad's interesting book "The Return of Faraz Ali" is set in the infamous red-light district of Lahore. The main character Faraz Ali is sent to his homeland to conceal the killing of a small child. After his powerful father removed him from the Mohalla as a youngster he could live a decent life. Faraz is forced to face his past head-on. He is now charged by his father with covering up the horrific killing of a young girl and leading the Mohalla police station.

Faraz can't seem to follow instructions for the first time in his career. He follows the secrets that might destroy his meticulously planned life as he makes his way through the fortified city's maze-like passageways.
