About this book

Joanna Quinn's interesting debut novel "The Whalebone Theatre" follows Cristabel Seagrave's journey. A tale of love, family, bravery, lost innocence, and self-transformation, Cristabel's life includes everything from a theater in the hole of a beached whale to secret activities during World War II. The story takes place against the backdrop of an impending conflict in an old English manor house by the sea. It's a stunning, unconventional coming-of-age tale.
