The Worth of a Man is a devotional book by Cleland Boyd McAfee (1866-1944), the American Presbyterian minister and theology professor remembered wherever hymns are sung as the author of Near to the Heart of God. McAfee taught at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago and wrote steadily for church readers, and this book presses his constant theme: the measureless value of the single human life under God.
