Tillers of the Sand

Tillers of the Sand collects light verse by Sir Owen Seaman (1861-1936), the English satirist who edited Punch from 1906 to 1932 and was among the sharpest parodists of his age. Seaman’s polished comic and satirical poems skewered politics, fashion, and literary pretension for the Punch readership. He was knighted for his service to the magazine that defined British humour.
