Tomorrow I Become a Woman can be considered an opening novel with a punch by Aiwanose Odafen. Uju lives in Nigeria. Some day she comes across a gentleman by the name of Gozie. That is why they are able to emotionally and mentally attach themselves with those that are like themselves. But guess what? Uju also gets in love with another boy named Akin also. He’s from a different tribe. Uju must decide what she is to do while warring on her family and friends. I cannot agree more with Mr. Powell when he said it is like lovers, life and changes as the characters Wuthering and Heathclick grows abreast.
