Topics
“Topics” is a work by Aristotle that is part of his six writings on logic, collectively known as the Organon. In Topics, Aristotle presents the art of dialectic, which is the invention and discovery of statements where the proposals rest upon commonly held opinions or endoxa.
About the Author
Aristotle was an ancient Greek philosopher and polymath, a student of Plato and tutor to Alexander the Great. His writings on ethics, politics, logic, and poetics · including the Nicomachean Ethics and Poetics · shaped Western thought for centuries.
