Dosshu Bonhur Series

Dosshu Bonhur is a character created by the popular Bengali author Romena Afaz in Bangladesh. Over a 138 detective stories have been published based on this character in the Dosshu Bonhur series. As a child, Monir, the son of the Choudhury family, was lost in a shipwreck. Dosshu Sardar Kalu Khan kidnapped him and later raised him as "Dosshu Bonhur". Dosshu Bonhur, who was respected by the poor as a friend and an enemy of thieves, was like an ambassador of justice and truth. The slogan of this series is 'Dosshu Bonhur: the symbol of truth and justice.
