A. L. Zaun

A. L. Zaun writes contemporary relationship fiction about second chances, uncertainty, and the stories people tell themselves about love. The Do Over follows Dani Ruiz after a painful breakup leaves her retreating into books and avoiding new relationships. Her friends push her back toward dating, where firefighter Liam Lucas offers a different future just as former partner Rick Marin returns. Retail and bibliographic records identify Zaun as author and A L Zaun Publishing as the publisher, with the novel issued in 2013. The narrative uses several points of view, allowing Dani's choice to be understood through more than one person's hopes and mistakes. Zaun's English literature background and interest in reading also inform a premise built around the contrast between imagined book partners and complicated real people. The Do Over by A. L. Zaun centers on a contemporary romance focused on recovery, renewed trust, and the difficult distinction between familiar history and genuine change.
