A.R. Silverberry
A.R. Silverberry is a fantasy writer, musician, and licensed psychologist whose creative work draws on a lifelong engagement with stories and the arts. He studied music at Dominican College of San Rafael, later earned a doctorate in psychology, and began writing seriously in 1998. Wyndano’s Cloak is his first novel, a fantasy adventure for readers aged eleven and older about Jen, who confronts a dangerous shapeshifter and a cloak that grants transformative powers. The imaginary kingdom of Aerdem gives the story a setting for questions about courage, identity, and empowerment under pressure. Silverberry's background includes classical composition, piano, jazz, watercolor painting, and clinical work across age groups. Those interests help explain the novel's combination of visual imagination, emotional stakes, and youthful agency. The book received recognition for juvenile storytelling, and Silverberry has continued developing stories connected with its fantasy world.
