Adamina Young

Adamina Young writes Scottish historical romance centered on Highland clans, political pressure, danger, and relationships tested by divided loyalties. Betrayed by His Highland Wife is the fifth novel in the Highlands’ Games of Power series and was published in 2022. Its central pair are Nora Douglas, who enters an arranged marriage carrying a secret mission, and Laird William Duncan, whose expected political alliance becomes personal. Young’s wider catalogue is organized into connected Highland sequences, including Highlands’ Deceptive Lovers, Highlands’ Daring Warriors, and Rebel Highland Brides. Fantastic Fiction identifies her as an American author devoted to Scottish romance and records the exact series order, while the work page classifies the novel as historical and Scottish romance. Betrayed by His Highland Wife therefore fits a sustained authorial focus instead of serving merely as a setting: clan responsibility, inherited conflict, courtship, and the possibility that affection can disrupt plans formed through revenge or duty. Young’s recurring series structure lets related families and Highland communities carry those themes across multiple novels.
