Alexa Aston

Alexa Aston organizes much of her Regency fiction into linked romance series. Debating with the Duke and Empowered by the Earl belong to Second Sons of London, whose younger sons face unexpected changes in their lives and titles. Designs on the Duke appears in Suddenly a Duke, another connected world built around unplanned successions. These sequences are separate, but both use questions of rank, duty, work, and courtship to shape their relationships. Aston's wider bibliography reaches into medieval romance as well, alongside several other collections centered on aristocratic families.
