Amalia Dillin

Amalia Dillin writes fantasy that reshapes mythology through intimate questions of memory, duty, and chosen partnership. Forged by Fate opens her Fate of the Gods trilogy, a sequence that brings figures from several mythic traditions into a contemporary conflict shaped by reincarnation and divine obligation. Goodreads lists it as the opening series volume and identifies Dillin with both that trilogy and the Orc Saga. On her own writing blog, Dillin marks the book’s fifth anniversary while discussing the wider release of the Fate of the Gods books, confirming its place at the foundation of the sequence. The novel centers on Eve, whose recurring lives have tied her to Adam, and on Thor, whose role complicates a destiny presented as fixed. Dillin treats myth less as a set of distant legends than as a structure her characters must interpret and sometimes resist. Forged by Fate establishes that tension between inherited roles and personal choice, giving the trilogy an emotional problem that extends beyond its supernatural contest.
