Ami Weaver

Ami Weaver writes contemporary relationship stories centered on families rebuilding after loss and separation. A Husband for the Holidays opens the Made for Matrimony sequence with former spouses Mack Lawless and Darcy Kramer meeting again in Holden's Crossing, Michigan. Their work together at a Christmas tree farm forces them to address the reasons their marriage ended and the grief neither has fully left behind. Harlequin Special Edition issued it during 2015, and publisher records assign it to a line known for home, community, and family-focused romance. Weaver gives the seasonal setting a practical function: shared responsibilities keep the characters in contact while the approaching holiday sharpens questions about reconciliation. The book was also included in a Harlequin monthly collection alongside stories by Caro Carson and Nancy Robards Thompson. For readers discovering Weaver through this title, her strengths lie in emotional restraint, small-town texture, and the patient reconstruction of trust between people whose history matters as much as their renewed attraction.
