Amy Lloyd

Amy Lloyd entered psychological suspense after studying English and creative writing at Cardiff Metropolitan University. The Innocent Wife, her debut, won the Daily Mail First Novel Competition in 2016 and later became a Sunday Times top-ten bestseller. The novel follows English schoolteacher Samantha, whose interest in Dennis Danson's disputed Florida conviction leads to correspondence, marriage, and fresh doubts after his release. Lloyd keeps the focus on obsession, uncertainty, and the distance between a public campaign and private knowledge. Arrow and Hanover Square Press issued editions of the book in the United Kingdom and North America, establishing the Cardiff-based writer on both sides of the Atlantic.
