Amy McNulty
Amy McNulty builds speculative series across fantasy, paranormal mystery, and fairy-tale traditions. Snowy Wings Publishing released Iron & Aqua in 2019 as the third main volume in Blood, Bloom, & Water. It continues Ember Goodwin’s involvement in a conflict among vampires, merfolk, and other supernatural factions, combining romantic fantasy with a struggle over loyalty and power. Nobody’s Lady belongs to a different sequence, the Never Veil trilogy. Issued in 2016 as its second book, it follows Noll after the village’s old enchantment has been broken and its marriages temporarily dissolved. McNulty uses that altered social order to examine independence, responsibility, and the consequences of earlier choices. The two books show her working on different scales: one expands an urban-fantasy conflict across several magical communities, while the other revisits a secluded village after a major political and emotional change. Her bibliography also includes game-centered supernatural mysteries, retellings, and collaborative anthology work.
