Where Darkness Blooms, from Wednesday Books in February 2023, puts four teenagers, Bo, Delilah, Jude and Whitney, in a small Kansas town two years after their mothers disappeared. A memorial service and the windstorm that tears through it reopen the question of why the town keeps losing women. It made the 2024 International Thriller Writers shortlist for best young adult novel, an award Elizabeth Wein took with Stateless. Hannah's other novels include Of Scars and Stardust, The Wildest Things and I Killed the King.
