Andrew Gross

Andrew Gross began his thriller career by coauthoring five bestsellers with James Patterson before building a successful solo career. The Blue Zone, his first novel under his own name, follows Kate Raab as witness protection, her father's disappearance, and long-hidden family secrets converge. The One Man shifts to historical suspense in 1944: intelligence officer Nathan Blum is sent into occupied Poland to reach imprisoned physicist Alfred Mendl, whose knowledge has strategic importance. Gross's range stretched from contemporary domestic jeopardy to carefully researched wartime missions. His publishers note that his work appeared in more than twenty-five languages; he died in 2025 at age seventy-two.
