Andy Maslen

Andy Maslen is a British thriller writer whose recurring investigators and operatives connect police procedure with fast action and psychological pressure. The First Stella Cole Boxset collects Hit and Run, Hit Back Harder, and Hit and Done, the three novels that form Stella Cole's Revenge Trilogy. Stella begins as a Metropolitan Police detective inspector whose private loss drives her to reopen a case and confront corruption within the legal system. The collection establishes the divided inner voice she calls Other Stella and follows one continuous pursuit across all three books. Maslen studied psychology before spending three decades in business as a copywriter, then shifted to fiction full time. His other continuing characters include Gabriel Wolfe, Inspector Ford, and Kat Ballantyne, giving his bibliography several distinct crime and suspense strands. The First Stella Cole Boxset is the clearest starting point for Stella's arc because it preserves the order and cumulative consequences of the opening trilogy rather than presenting three unrelated adventures.
