Misty Evans

Misty Evans writes romantic suspense, paranormal romance, and urban fantasy, frequently building long series around investigators, covert teams, and recurring professional communities. Stealing Justice opens the Justice Team sequence and was written with Adrienne Giordano, whose co-author credit is essential to the work’s identity. This 2014 story brings former FBI agent Justice “Grey” Greystone together with Sydney Banfield, who runs a women’s shelter, during an attempt to stop a serial offender. Their undercover plan combines a criminal investigation with developing trust and attraction. Series records place Cheating Justice next, followed by novellas and further full-length cases through Defending Justice. Evans also created the Super Agent, Witches Anonymous, and SCVC Taskforce books, showing her movement between espionage, paranormal, and crime-centered romance. Stealing Justice establishes the collaborative Justice Team world through Grey and Sydney’s case, and its opening position matters because later books expand the same network while shifting attention to other investigators and couples.
