Angela J. Ford was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, raised in Alabaster, Alabama, and moved to Nashville for a music business degree at Belmont; she has stayed there since. The fantasy saga she started at twelve, drawn from games invented with her sisters, became The Four Worlds. Its opening volume, The Five Warriors, appeared in September 2015, the year she gave up salaried work to write and to run a business of her own. Music of the Night, Song of the Dawn and Lured by the Dusk belong to Tower Knights, gothic-flavoured romantasy novels that share one cursed world but stand apart from each other: a young ward and a mysterious instructor in a haunted tower, a violinist taking a post at a remote inn named the Dawn, and a story Ford pitches as Pied Piper meets Dracula.
