Anita Faulkner
Anita Faulkner writes romantic comedies shaped by village life, friendship, and second chances. Her debut novel, A Colourful Country Escape, follows Lexie Summers after a broken relationship sends her travelling in an orange campervan. A vacancy at a family-run paint company brings her to Nutgrass Hall, where she tries to persuade owner Benedict Carrington to trust her with reviving the business. Sphere issued the novel in 2022. Faulkner has since continued this rural romantic-comedy strand in The Gingerbread Café and You Had Me at Pumpkin Patch. Before publication, she developed her fiction through the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s New Writers’ Scheme.
