Anna James

Anna James writes children's fantasy in which reading becomes a form of travel, discovery, and responsibility. Tilly and the Lost Fairy Tales is the second Pages & Co. adventure, following Tilly Pages and Oskar as they enter a book of fairy tales during a trip to Paris and find familiar stories slipping out of order. Paola Escobar illustrated the novel, and HarperCollins Children's Books published the British edition. James's six-book Pages & Co. sequence begins with Tilly and the Bookwanderers and continues through The Last Bookwanderer. She previously served as a school librarian and as book news editor for The Bookseller, roles that help explain the series' affectionate knowledge of libraries, bookshops, and the ways stories pass between readers.
