Bonnie Bryant

Bonnie Bryant writes horse stories for younger readers and is closely associated with The Saddle Club. Hard Hat sends Stevie Lake to New York, where an accident puts her and a new friend in danger before a horse becomes part of the rescue. Million-Dollar Horse returns to Pine Hollow Stables, where the club protects an inherited mare from a relative seeking her fortune. The Long Ride opens the Pine Hollow sequence, following familiar Saddle Club characters as they grow older and face new responsibilities. Penguin Random House lists Hard Hat and Million-Dollar Horse as books 97 and 92 of The Saddle Club, while library records identify The Long Ride as Pine Hollow book one. Bryant's recurring riders connect friendship, stable life, and practical horsemanship across the three titles.
