Brooke Burroughs
Brooke Burroughs writes contemporary romance shaped by technology, travel, and cross-cultural experience. Her debut, The Marriage Code, was published by Montlake and follows two software professionals working in Bangalore as an algorithmic matchmaking project becomes personal. Burroughs spent years in the technology industry and lived in India, where she met her husband. She has said that experience supplied the emotional seed for the novel, though she turned it into fiction. Her later book The Name Curse continues her interest in capable women, adventurous settings, and relationships tested by unfamiliar circumstances.
