Laura Bradbury

Laura Bradbury is a Canadian writer whose work spans memoir, cookery, and romantic fiction, often drawing on her years in Burgundy and her experience as a liver-transplant recipient. Her 2022 Grape Books novel Unlikely Match is a workplace romance subtitled A Transplant Romance, and its transplant context matches Bradbury’s firsthand medical experience. Bradbury studied law at Oxford before building the autobiographical Grape Series. In an interview with My French Country Home, she explained that illness prompted her to begin recording her family’s story for her daughters, turning personal history into a sustained writing career.
