Brown H.C.

Brown H.C., published professionally as H.C. Brown, is an Australian author whose catalogue spans historical, paranormal, science fiction, fantasy, time travel, action adventure, and contemporary romance. Hurt Me Good was published by Dreamspinner Press in 2012 and follows two creative professionals, writer Harper Cole and dancer Flame, as trust develops between them. The 206-page trade paperback preserves its H.C. Brown byline, clarifying the inverted catalogue name. Brown's published catalogue contains more than one hundred distinct works, including Club Floggers, Club Depravity, and numerous standalone stories. Her career includes award recognition and a Queensland background. Across that wide bibliography, she often uses complex settings, forceful protagonists, and ultimately hopeful resolutions. Hurt Me Good represents the contemporary side of that output, bringing artistic careers and personal reinvention together within a relationship-focused narrative.
