Caitlin Sinead
Caitlin Sinead writes romance, speculative fiction, and short stories that place private uncertainty beside public pressure. Red Blooded follows college-bound Peyton Arthur while she travels with her mother’s vice-presidential campaign, where questions about family history complicate both political appearances and her growing relationship with campaign intern Dylan. Carina Press issued the novel in 2015. Sinead’s other novels include Heartsick, a mystery with speculative elements, and Denali in Hiding, a teen story about unusual mental abilities and political danger. Her shorter work has appeared in literary magazines and anthologies, with recognition from Glimmer Train, Writers & Artists, and Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine. She earned a master’s degree in writing from Johns Hopkins University and has studied writing at William and Mary and Yale. Red Blooded demonstrates her characteristic contrast between apparently polished institutions and emotionally unsettled characters, using campaign strategy, family loyalty, and romance to keep personal decisions tied to a larger public story.
