Candace Owens

Owens runs a large conservative media operation and Blackout argues that Black Americans should abandon the Democratic party, which she left herself; before 2016 she ran a site attacking Trump supporters. In 2019 she told a congressional hearing that Germany's wartime leader would have been fine had he confined himself to Germany, and said afterwards that the clip removed her meaning. She left the Daily Wire in 2024 after a public quarrel over her statements about Israel and about Jewish people, which her critics called hostility to Jews and which she rejects in those terms. She is among the most watched political commentators in America and the argument about her is not close to settled.
