Clouded By Envy opened the sequence now called Cruel Curses in 2019: Brenik, forever second to his twin sister Bray, finds a way out of the fae world and into a human body, and the gift turns into the curse of the title. Maddie, written with Amber R. Duell, starts Vampires in Wonderland, a grown-up reworking of Lewis Carroll in which Maddie has spent two years trying to get her sister out of the Queen of Hearts' prison. Slaying the Frost King, written with Elle Beaumont, belongs to the pair's Mortal Enemies to Monster Lovers line and sets Eirah, a reclusive toymaker, against Morozko, a frost king owed a yearly tribute. These Vicious Thorns: Tales of the Lovely Grim, from 2023, collects her darker short fiction under the Untamed Darkness banner. By her own account she writes around migraines, bonsai and old films, and lives with her husband and daughter.
