Cara Bastone

Cara Bastone wrote Seatmate for the ear, straight into audio as an Audible Original in 2022, third of her Love Lines stories, almost entirely dialogue and performed by a full cast headed by Amanda Ronconi and Zachary Webber. A photographer has to reach New York from Boston for a job; the man in the next bus seat is going to find an old girlfriend. Bastone writes full time in Brooklyn, where she lives with her family. Her first printed novel was Just a Heartbeat Away in 2019, and an earlier Love Lines story, Call Me Maybe, was a 2021 Audie Award finalist for romance.
