Carly Phillips

Karen Drogin was a lawyer before she was a novelist, and began publishing romance in 1999, at first under that name and then as Carly Phillips. Her breakthrough was The Bachelor in 2002, chosen for the Reading with Ripa club on LIVE with Regis and Kelly, which lifted it to the top of the online retail charts and onto bestseller lists across the country. Working from Westchester County, she has put out upwards of seventy contemporary romances since, most of them grouped into linked family sets: the Chandler Brothers, Serendipity, Dare to Love, the Kingston Family. Just One Dare, from 2022, folds two of those casts together.
