Truth or Dare (2020) and On the Third Day (2022) come from the self-published stretch of Danielle Allen's career: the first is a novella in which a dare at a destination wedding pushes two lifelong friends, Kingston and Simone, into pursuing an attraction in secret, the second is a short holiday romance set across an Easter weekend. Bramble, the romance imprint of Tor Publishing Group, has since published her Curve series, opening with Curvy Girl Summer in 2024, a fat-positive comedy of online dating. She describes herself as an educator and a life coach with a background in the social sciences.
